JADE (JARROD) BARGER

Audio and Acoustics Engineer and Theatrical Designer

With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, a little bit of everything is in their CV. Originally a theatre performance and design major at ASU, he took his love of art and show production and combined his passion for technology and design, becoming a professional stage manager as a "day job" and working in music production and design at every chance. Every gig was a new chance to show the tools of the trade, from working as a quick-hire session musician to properties designer to front of house audio technician. Working full tilt in the entertainment industry even brought about skills one would never expect, such as being a licensed commercial long haul truck driver, a certified gunsmith and a professional body double!

But, the addition of another degree in Music Production from Phoenix College cemented a direct line into full time music production. With over 4,000 music performances, 30 album credits and counting, working as A1 for multiple music festivals in the US and as Technical Director for two universities. Previous professional production credits include Stagebrush Theatre, Trinity Broadcasting Network, FAO Schwartz, Universal Unitarian Congregation of Phoenix, Phoenix Theatre, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, The Nash (Phoenix), Lakeshore Music and over 20 private recording studios as a freelance engineer. Barger has also designed the Front of House audio production systems of over a dozen houses of worship in a wide variety of denominations and faiths and several performance venues.

They have even returned to their alma mater of Phoenix College to serve as an instructor of Audio Production for a term, as well as former Associate Owner of Pink Elephant Records in Tempe, Arizona!

Barger recently served with ASU Kerr and ASU Gammage, a division of Arizona State University's Department of Cultural Affairs* for over 12 years as a Technican and Technical Director at ASU Kerr
